Long day ahead.

Just about to get out of bed. Shower and wash my hair and get ready and then off to Uni!! Try and finish my integrated which I could probably say is the worst essay we have had..and then do some philosophy!! Sometimes i wish I had a full time job and there was no studying involved....but then i think of summer :)

Aahhhhhh study study

So life is taken over by Uni work..love it!!! Nottttttt!!! One assignment down and one to go and then study study study for exams. Quite looking forward to the tennis cpd event tomorrow..looking forward to the resources we are going to get aswell, hopefully they might be useful for placement. Roll on the summer for a wee break from this studying, although I can see it being filled with getting file ready for placement and thinking about dissertation topic. Really do not know what to do which sort is scares me. The good thing is I am actually thinking about it and the different things I can do..suppose that is a start!!

Day 1 of placement 3G

After being so nervous last night about placement today the nerves have finally gone!! I really enjoyed today, apart from the fact they did not know I was coming. The class are great and my teacher is lovely. I think it is gonna be a brilliant class to work with. I'm looking forward to getting more responsibility with the class year and building my confidence. Hope everyone else got on great aswell!! It's nice to get away from Uni work for three days!!!!

Sunday studying

So today is my first Sunday this year that I am sitting studying and it's quite depressing. Looking at all my ed studies stuff and absolutely lost about where to start. I feel as if there is no way I can learn everything. I have worked out though that reading over notes does not help me, I actually have to re-write my notes. I feel I learn more from doing this. I am quite lucky though as my friends and I in Uni have made a little study group so go over each topic in ed studies so we exchange ideas and help each other. Also started writing notes for creativity essay. It's so easy to forget things so I have to write things down straight away when ideas pop into my head. Hopefully working hard and studying will pull off in my results.

Thanks Rachael for telling me about the blog app today. What a great, easy way to blog where ever you are. I feel that with this app I will use my blog more and will be more inclined to use it!! Another helpful tip - if you go onto iTunes then you can download chapters of the warbuton book for ed studies for FREE!!! it's in the form of a podcast. You can listen to it where ever you are and it's a great way of learning in a different way.

Nursery

Well after one week at nursery I have to say I'm quite enjoying it. The kids are hilarious and the staff are great. We have 'happy fridays' which involves a chippy at lunch time :D a public nursery is very different from a private nursery which I have been in before. Still don't have a clue what I'm doing for my rational or community report lol but apart from that I think the next 3 weeks will fly in..can't wait to start all the christmassy stuff too :) how sad x

Ed Studies Reading!!

Every week after reading the ed studies chapters I never have a clue what I have just read about..and once again after reading this weeks chapters im thinking.."what does this even mean?????" My brain hates and cant handle philosophy at all!!
